Strain relief on "good" RCA connectors - 25/06/2006 19:04

For my empeg install, I bought some "good" RCA connectors to solder into my wiring harness. I looked pretty hard and couldn't find any with strain relief coming off the back, braided or otherwise. Is there a way to add strain relief to these? I can't imagine how DIY RCA cables are supposed to be done.

Maybe I should stick with my $0.50/each RadioShack RCA connectors that I bought for testing. They have strain relief and little holes to feed the wires through for brainlessly simple soldering. They sound ok in my test, but I'm trying to do the best job that I can. Maybe even their strain relief won't protect my solder job.
