A friend interviewed over there last year, and she found the atmosphere to be antagonistic and competitive, with lots of very smart people who don't know how to work with others, especially when the others are also smart people.
That's just one second-hand opinion, based on an interview with one group.

Ladmo, I don't think it ever even came up, somewhere in the Bay Area.
