Something tells me this will be seen on one of pca's creations soon:

This RC plane enthusiast in Canada tied a set of VR goggles to the camera onboard, so that moving your head around would move the camera on the plane.

That is awesome. I particularly enjoy the tiny instrument dials on the front of the plane. Now he just needs to add a GI Joe arm and a tiny joystick.

That is soo cool!

I'm having fun with my G3 RC flight simulator.
It's fun in 'chase' or 'cockpit' view, but nothing compared to the video in the link!

Very OT- anyone know if the phone shown in the sidebar is real? I could go for a dirt simple, small candybar like that.

I think that this is exactly the effect that Partick is after. The video linked is recorded directly onto an onboard video recorder which is why the video is such good quality, but it would be interesting to see what the transmitted live video would be like with that small fixed antenna.

Patricks gadget will eventually track the plane in the sky for hopefully really good live video that you can fly by.

Really nice head tracking though!
