In case you don't have a Mayan calendar close to hand, attached is a photograph I took of an incredible sand sculpture on the beach in Puerto Vallarta last month. To give an idea of scale, that disk is more than 10 feet tall.

To preserve detail, I did NOT re-size the picture to be download friendly, so it is kinda big, about 1.7 MB.

Dude and his followers bought a bunch of national advertising space. I saw the billboards. Most of the crackpots don't go that far. Money gets you attention when you spend it right.

What has been the official response from said crackpots? Surely they must have had the proper spin ready for when/if the rapture didn't happen?
