Hoster ASP - 19/11/2001 10:55

Hi Guys.

I need a good and reliable hoster to publish few but important webpages in ASP. I need this for business purposes, so allthe legal aspect of this should included in the offer. So far I would need 10Mb or so, but may need to expand in the future. I only need is some hdd space on a fixed IP address. I already have a domain and all the rest. So, maybe you have some suggestions? I know that there are thousands, but I'd prefer to chose something which has proven reliable, rather than goiung through unexpected problems like for instance with Earthlink.

Thank you so much!

Heh, I was going to reply and say "whatever you do, make sure the company isn't owned by Earthlink", but I see you've already covered that.

Do you need ASP specifically? Or do you just need dynamic control? If your pages are not yet developed and you can go another dynamic route, then you have more choices available.

The cheapest/reliable servers I know of don't run NT/2000/backoffice, so they don't advertise ASP (none offer coldfusion either) - you'd have to use PHP and other open alternatives.

If you want to go the open route, www.coastlandtech.com is great, and www.pair.com offers some nice accounts as well for a larger bandwidth requirement.

I need ASP specifically. I already have material in ASP that needs to be published, and will need to develop asp in the future, so I need an hoster that lets me use ASP and ACCESS to begin with.
