Hi,

I recently got a new cell phone on eBay and the seller threw in a free antenna booster. It's a little sticker with some metal traces on it that you are supposed to put between the battery and the phone and it's supposed to improve reception. Anybody know if these things actually work? It seems to me that if something so simple had measurable effect, the phone manufacturer would have built it in.

Thanks,
Borislav

You are correct. The so-called antenna booster is nothing more than a sticker.

Some people will do anything for a buck. What's worse is that some people will actually pay money for these things.

I definitely agree with Tony. These things are a tax on people who don't understand physics.

Perhaps those things work for analog phones?
