This is just wrong on so many levels. It should be an easy ruling for Sonic Blue to beat down, but then again you never know whos been bought ;-)

I have a Replay and there are plenty of commercials that I still watch. This is why www.adcritic.com so popular (HEY where did it go?). never mind.

it does make you wonder about the moron that is the judge in this case.
Obviously he thinks that the VCR is way to complex for normal people and the if you know how to operate a remote control the you must be a hacker.

Wonder if they want logs of me using the kitchen as well during commercial breaks?

I'm not watching the commercials when I'm taking a leak so I'm preventing them getting advertising revenue! Will they demand that doors will be closed and locked automatically to prevent people wandering off? You WILL watch this... Scary thought

Seems like a good reason to hack the replayTV box and never let it dial up headquarters. For the record, it IS hackable, as is the Tivo.
