Do a "Pelican" search on the BBS and you should find a fair bit of discussion.
I remember seeing pics of two sizes (1200 & 1400) to compare fit.
I use mine to carry from car to house, and when security is required (lockable).
I also have a cheap CaseLogic soft padded bag that easily fits into my backpack
for when at work.

Think of the higher cost as Insurance; and there's only the one Premium!
