Yes, some of the FIDs are the actual MP3 files. But here's the trick: The FILE NAMES are not the names of the songs. They are just sequence numbers.

So if you combine the drives of two different empegs, you are going to get a bunch of DUPLICATE FILE NAMES. Which will wreak havok with the player's ability to rebuild its database correctly.

Best to just wipe that second disk before re-using it.
