Asterisk client? velcro on a tiny usb webcam and you may have a video phone...

The thing is... the Nokia N800/Nokia N810 would be better suited for all of those tasks than the Chumby. The N800 has a bigger/higher res screen, faster CPU, more RAM, more Flash, built in web cam, battery, SD slots and a FM tuner. It doesn't have the sensors though and is a bit more expensive.
