Since I mentioned player controls, one thing that bugs me is that during a search, if I mis-type one character, I have to start again from scratch.

It would be nice, then, if there were a "backspace" key on the remote - maybe we could use the search key, so that if there's any pending input it becomes backspace instead of going on to the next search type?

Also - how are we supposed to type the hex digits a-f when entering PINs? Is this something the Kenwood remote has that the Rio doesn't? (I have a Rio one, though I've told my software that it's an empeg).
