Good point. I can assure you that I am objective precisely because I've used both releases. I used 1.1 for a little while earlier in this year on its initial pass, then switched gears back to the 1.03 codebase to test it for a long time up until just a couple weeks ago. Then I went back to 1.1/2.0 as they neared public beta. My point is that I
have been going back and forth between the two, and although 2.0 is an excellent software release, 1.03 stands up very well in comparison because (as you said) it was damn good to begin with.
The list of features and bug fixes in 2.0 is massive, but I just wanted everyone to know that it won't change the way you use your player. Everything is still the same as it always has been, it's just more refined.
But that doesn't mean that I'm not eagerly anticipating this new release.
Hey, I'm all for eagerly anticipating. That's fine. It's worth "eager anticipation". I just wanted to make sure no one was frothing at the mouth over it.
