I don't even know this butters character (I've heard of him, but haven't seem an episode with him in it)

Hmmm...come to think of it, I remember one of the creaters saying in an interview that the Kenny character was getting on their nerves because they had ran out of original ways for him to die.
I guess they really meant that and saw no other possibility than to remove the character from the series...
damn shame....
