Just wondering if anyone would be interested in Stainless Steel Screws for the front of their unit to replace the black ones. There are exactly the same just stainless steel. If enough people want them i will go to where i got them and get the pricing, as i only got 8 and they never charged me so i have no clue how much they are.

Like, matte silver or shiny like chrome?

I wouldn't mind some, but it honestly be worth that much to me. Sounds like it would add a nice sort of highlight. Care to share where you got them from?

Anyone got a piccy? I'd like to see what this looked like, and also, if poss., a supplier in the UK, or the specifications (length, thread) that I'd need to look for.

Many thanks,

A.

The standard bolts started life as stainless and were then blackened for us

Come to think of it, they are the first black hex bolts I've had that weren't magnetic.

Sterling silver would be too fragile if you turn them to much they will snap.

Yeah, but you're not supposed to tighten those bolts very much anyway. Brass screws abound, as do aluminum, although not in hex bolts, it does show that soft metals can be used for screws at least. Certainly sterling silver would hold up equally well.

If you tighten your screws enough to snap them (even Sterling silver ones) then they are so tight that chances are your buttons will no loner work.

Those fascia screws are only a little bit more than finger tight.
