I spent this last weekend in Boston. So I decided to shop around and buy some cheap clothes. I found a place called Filene's Basement (next to the commons). Anyways, I found this shoulder bag that appears to be a camera bag by Calvin Klein. It's really awesome, and my empeg fits in it! It's a beige colored bag with leather and some other material I can't identify. Solid manufacturing, or so it appears.

Anyways, I figured if any Empeg owners live in Boston they might find this interesting and might want to get one. It's a 45 dollar bag- but this Filene's Basement place is some type of discount mart. I picked it up for $12. Can't beat that..

If anyone lives in the area and wants to check it out, I'll post jpgs of what it looks like and directions on where it is. There were probably a hundred when I was there on Saturday (6/22).

Filene's is a chain. I would feel odd walking in there to check it out though. There's a Filene's Basement in West Nyack, NY in the Palisades Center Mall by the way.

For those who don't know: Filenes Basement in downtown Boston is where all the end of line/overstocks/seconds fro the Filenes chain go to to be sold...they have a discount system where the discounts increase every week that the item stays there until eventually it gets marked Charity, and the *insanely* low price that you pay goes to charity...I once bought a suit and silk tie there - although the tie was only $18 (50% off IIRC), it still cost more than the suit...$12 (charity).

There are other Filenes Basements as well, but nowhere near as good.

I agree - gay people everywhere would be appalled if their CK bags were mistaken for empeg carry cases. For heavens sake leave the style statements to those who know what they're doing!
