Does anyone have a reccomendation on what color/lens combination works best to match the other displays in a late model Porsche (the orange color)??

I had the Amber and it actually looked pretty decent ... It's a little more yellow than the Boxster Amber, but not too far off.

How about Audi red?

I will be having my Empeg professionally installed in a few weeks, and I purchased Darkstorm's neon red. A fine product, but I hope it is at least close. If not, I can just close the panel that hides the stereo.

Can't comment on the Audi Red ... If the Neon doesn't match, I would check out the stock Empeg red color ...

I've tried a couple to go with my Audi and I found that Neon Red is the best. Basically its the most readible during the day and looks really cool at night with the red glow around the edges. The Deep Red looks pretty damn good at night however it is impossible to see during the day. It matches the Red the best. IMHO Neon Red is the best.

Hey, no offense, but I'm still looking for an answer on the Porsche!!! LOL

The Audi color is different (even though made by the same company!) Any Porsche owers out there? The Empeg Amber is too yellow!!

i have no Porsche, but look at the gel-colors at Darkstorms page. There are some amber-variations like gold-amber, which are darker than the empeg-amber. I ordered a "fire"-lens for my BMW, which fits better than the empeg-red, and is more readable in the daylight...
