I heard emplode was all set to retire, hang up its protocol stack and take it easy. Who knows what son-of-emplode is going to get up to though, that little scamp!

Probably no chance - Riot uses the RioSDK and future portables are also unlikely to use the empeg protocol.

if they would make the rio central sync with the riot it would almost be worth 1500 not to have to use real one

Ok make that 1,149 if they add car and riot to the players that can be syncronized I will buy one.

I'm really hoping for Riot and Car synching on the Central. And I don't even own a Riot.

The next Central release adds Rio 900, S10, S30S, S35S and S50 but not Riot or car.

The Rio Music Manager schedule is tied to the release schedules of other projects, so you're going to have to wait a little while I'm afraid. Of course you might not care so much about Riot support by then anyway
