This is odd.

This morning, on my way to work, I was listening to music on my Empeg - and suddenly, the music became distorted - it almost sounded like it was a scratchy CD or something, the music skipped a lot. As I reached for the remote to try to remedy the situation, the player had rebooted, and resumed playing the same track right where it left off, and worked perfectly fine thereafter.

I know the track is good - I've listened to it several times before. I've never had any strange behavior from my player before. I'm running 2b13, and have a 10 and 20 gig drive in the unit.

Anyone else have this happen? I'm not really concerned about it - but if it happens again I'll be sure to mention something.

The same thing was happening to me when I first got my empeg... Rather annoying, sometimes it would actually freeze altogether. However when I upgraded and added Hijack it quit doing it.
