I just upgraded emplode and the player to beta 13, connectid via serial port, selected "empegcar" (root of the playlist tree) and pressed "play". This crashed emplode. Offset: 0002c7b1

I can reproduce the Emplode crash, serial is not required since I did it with ethernet. I will add it to the internal bug list now.

Regarding the front panel failure after the upgrade: Please try grabbing the upgrade file a second time and make sure:

1) You use getright to grab it.

2) It is the CAR2 upgrade file not the CAR1.
