There's nothing a little Red Stripe and Jimmy can't fix. Just needed to say that.

And here I am trying a bottle of rum and Eric Clapton. Not exactly looking forward to the morning. Next time I'll try your fix instead.

Kicking back for me involves soda and some Charlie Parker or Gerry Mulligan, but hey, everyone's got there own way. Personally, I can't stand Mr Buffet. Then again, I can't stand alchohol, so go figure

I'm not trying to just kick back. I'm trying to pass out and be oblivious to life for awhile.

Usually I agree with you and stay away from anything harder than a straight coke on the rocks.

Ahh yes, 1942. This little distraction recently came into my posession, and it kicks ass. I played it for multiple hours at a lan party this weekend.

Jimmy Buffet is actually here tonight. I was offered tickets, but at the same time I have tickets to the Coyotes game (preseason), and Diamondbacks game (postseason), and I have class tonight.

People suck at scheduling stuff.

Blowing [censored] up has to be the most theraputic activity ever. I think thats the only way I get through the day. When everything goes wrong, taking 30mins to fly out somewhere and make bad guys go away always seems to make things better

EC is the best... You interested in some bootleg concerts? I have some excellent CDRs and VCDs of the Budokan 2001 show...

I didn't get to see him this summer, which sucked. His shows have the best parking lot barbecue parties. He's the only performer I've seen where after the show everyone just fires up the 'cue and continues to party (short of perhaps the Dead or Phish, but it's a different vibe entirely).

I love Buffett (<----- 2 t's thank you) The show really is just a background for the parking lot hijinks. This year I had 8th row seats! So much fun. I'll try to post some pics from the show as soon as my computer starts working right...

What about the Jimmy Buffet, where you can pick out your Jimmy and take him back to your table and make him sing?

Well, I certainly need to get more stuff by him. I currently only have 2 albums, one is called "Legacy" or something like that, but the one I listen every time I want to reeeeally relax, to the point of almost falling asleep, is "What is there to Say?" That album is fantastic. I really want to play one or two of those with my college jazz band in some combo form (I'm a sax player as well).

As for Charlie Parker, I'd reccomend that if anyone wanted to get into him, pick up "The Essential Charlie Parker". It's one of the more accessable collections.

Here's me and my dad, and my car

my dad, and kate my girlfriend and some lovely port-a-potties!

the live band (2 guys with guitars anyway) that played right in front of my car, they were actually pretty good.

and finally one of the crowd in our nice little area.

NICE! Did he show aerial footage of the Boston/NH/RI/ME area like past years?

I wish I could have been there but I was up at Acadia (which is nice too) with friends. Next year.

yeah, he showed some cool footage of recent shows/parties.

my girlfriend and I tried to get tickets to the show the day they went on sale, but they sold out 2 shows in 15 minutes. The only way we were able to go was my dad shelling out big $$ on 3 tickets. He wont tell me how much, but i think it was upwards of $200 a piece!

well worth it though...

I feel the same way about those absurdly expensive Stones tickets for Foxboro. Good thing I had binoculars from my $100 seat. Sure was windy way up there...but so worth it to see Mick.
