Just got my Empeg put back in, had to get a new receiver. Man i missed my mp3's. Sooo many commercials ont he radio. I cant live without the empeg anymore I bought a kenwood model KDC-2019. Its a new receiver and works well with the Empeg, not many have the aux input anymore, but this one does.
Just put on 2.0b13 and hijack v298 , but the restore visual isnt workin anymore. I read some posts here , but didnt really see any fix, other than editing the ini file (i never did that) . I havent put on the latest hijack yet, gonna do that tnite. Just wanted to see if the restore visual is workin ok now. thanks for the awesome site!!

And that's probably just what you need to do. Look up the entry in the Hijack section FAQ on this subject.

Thanks again Tony, one thing i did notice is that the restore visuals works when the player is forced to AC mode. but then it never shuts off when i turn off the ignition

Restore visuals doesn't do anything when in AC mode. The visuals automatically come up in AC mode if that's what was selected at power-down.

Ahh, i see....
Looks like I have no choice but to edit that INI file. Will try tnite.
