Dredd enthusiast Registered: 12/11/1999 Posts: 261 Loc: Bay Area, California	Checked the FAQ, didn't see it there... My MkII handle is starting to show discoloration (oxidation?) turning towards white from its usual black. Is there an easy way to restore its color? Alternatively, is there a way to get a replacement handle?

maczrool pooh-bah Registered: 13/01/2002 Posts: 1649 Loc: Louisiana, USA	It could just be the natural aluminum color showing through due to the black finish rubbing off. It's apparently a chemical treatment of some sort that gives the handle its black appearance. I don't know, I guess you could try painting it, but I doubt it would look the same.
