I don't know if anyone on here cares about my constant rants and raves about the Eclipse Java IDE (www.eclipse.org), but if you happen to use it, head on over to
http://www.inzyme.com and grab my SWT-based MP3 player (SWeaTAmp
) -- The core behind the UI is actually jEmplode, which is kind of cool (i.e. the database behind the MP3 player is basically an Empeg database that was created in memory instead of being downloaded). I finally just got fed up with how annoying WinAmp is and decided i really wanted the player integrated into my IDE.... Make sure you install Java Media Framework before you install the SweatAmp plugin (there's a link on the site to JMF w/ Windows Performance Pack -- sidenote: if you're not on Windows, you'll need to track down an older version of JMF before they removed MP3 support because of licensing restrictions).
