Just a quicky... is it possible to get audio feedback from remote keypad presses? I tried switching on the beeps through the player options but this doesn't seem to affect the remote.

It would be really useful to get audio feedback when using the remote, particularly when using the search function as it's sometimes quite hard to determine whether the keypresses have registered.

There's probably a very easy answer to this stupid question, but I have checked the FAQ (honest) and can't find one...

I notice that in v272 of Hijack there is a hack to flash the display on remote keypresses, which suggests the audio feedback feature is missing.

However I'd prefer to get audio feedback so I don't have to keep looking at the display - I can just listen and spend a little more time concentrating on the road!!!

The beeps work for me when I use the remote.

Hmm... you're not wrong.

I must have been deaf yesterday morning (or had them turned down too quietly), because on the way home they were indeed working fine. D'oh!

On a slightly different note then, is it possible to enable beeps for remote keypresses, but disable them from keypresses on the empeg?
