I got the most fantastic deal today!

Best Buy has the Jensen Sirius Satellite Radio system which sells there for $175 normally.
Sirius is running an instant rebate for $75 to buy any system until 12/31 and Jensen is running a instant rebate for $90 on this particular unit.
I walked out of the Best Buy closest to me with a $175 satellite radio system, the only one they had in stock even, for $10!

For once in my life Murphy (from Murphy's Law) wasn't following me today! Hooray!

Yeah. But if I tried that Murphy would have definately shown up then.

Now if only there was a way to use my Empeg like a CD changer controller like the head units they have to control the satellite receiver

Oh well.... I guess I'll just have to be satisfied with naming the Auxillary Sirius or something. Now to find out how to do that.

Yeah I can believe it. The cell phone and satellite folks have been giving away their equipment for years. It's the monthly cash flow they're after. Now all you have to do is pay Sirius $12.95/month. It won't be long before all basic models are free- at least that's my guess.
