Does anyone know a good place to find cheap DVDR media? I'd be looking for both formats, awaiting the Sony recorder coming this month.

Pricewatch mainly has DVD-R for sale, or at least the search engine reveals very confusing results if you're looking for DVD+R. Anyway, it appears that DVD-R is about 60 cents a disc at the moment, according to Pricewatch. Anywhere else I should check? Thanks.

What kind of media does the Sony recorder burn? DVD-R? DVD+R? Both?

Also, you probably want to look into getting 2x or faster media, since 1x disks take about an hour to burn.

I've been beat... But anyways...

I usually use www.meritline.com

They ship fast and have good prices. I recommend ritek dvd-r media. They are compatible with the Sony DRU500a as well.
