I think it would be useful if when searching by year, it was possible to retrieve a whole decade. For example - to listen to all your 80's tracks, enter 198, commit, and it would return all tracks from 198x. Or maybe there's a better way to do it.

This is an interesting idea, but I think it could be extended to the other search screens, too (not just year).

For example, if you have certain artists that go under multiple names, for example Pat Metheny as well as Pat Metheny Group, or Steve Morse as well as Steve Morse Band. (I deliberately name my tags in such a way so that this doesn't happen, but for those who don't... you know what I mean.)

As it stands right now, the search screens are fuzzy right up until the moment of selection, then they get specific when you select. Which is great and it's usually what you want it to do because it saves keystrokes. But in rare situations, you really want to choose all of the fuzzy-search results instead of just one of them. If there were an alternate "confirm" that took all the fuzzy-search results instead of just the one, that'd cover BillB's idea as well as the same situation in all the other search screens.

Okay, okay... ya got me. I've got every one of his albums on 8-track, 45, cassette, and CD. I've got all his videos, too. I've got so much money, I just can't figure out what to do with it, so I figure I'll give it the needy.
