Trance (37)
Trip-hop (2)

Selcting several of these (Gospel, Trance to name but two) causes the
player to restart and the previously playing tune to continue
playing.
I dumped a CSV of the database from within Emplode and searched for
'Gospel'. It doesn't exist - there is no track on the Empeg with the
genre set to Gospel (I had wondered why it was listed, since I don't
like gospel music, but anyway).
There are only 31 tracks with the 'Trance' genre listed in the CSV,
yet the player is listing 37.
Testing Meditative, yes, there are 5 listed in the CSV. Jazz and Folk
also work out.
So, the bug is that the player thinks it's got some tracks which it
hasn't.
Now... how they got there.
Well... I have an idea, but I'm not suggesting that this is the
answer.
When I uploaded files to the Empeg I did it in two batches (one of
5Gb and one of 12Gb). When I dragged files for the second upload I
got a warning about the unit being full. I deleted a few albums I
didn't really want and the available space showed up as _about_
200Mb. I then started it synching and went to bed. When I checked the
unit in the morning, it said that it had only got about 25Mb free. I
wonder if some tracks were entered into the database, but not
actually uploaded to the Empeg because of lack of space.
Cheers,
Nick.
(apologies for the line length, but I just cut and pasted this from the e-mail I sent to bugs@empeg.com)
