I'm thinking of buying this AM/FM antenna amplifier kit from Maplin.co.uk to use in-car...


Specifications:
Power supply: 12V to 15V/3mA
Input and output impedance: 50-75Ohms.
Frequency range: 10MHz to 150MHz

At 3mA current consumption I could get away with leaving it permanently powered but was wondering; Can I run it from the blue wire (ant control) on the tuner module?

This is the only AM/FM booster I've found, perhaps there are more suitable ones available in the UK?
