Welp; as many of you have seen (you haven't??? well click here! ) I've finished installing the mk2 in my car, and I have to say, it sounds FANTASTIC.

I think it might have been all the work that I did to try and clean the sound of the mk1; running 4guage wiring to my amps, isolating my cables, etc. but there's hardly any alternator noise, and the snap-crackle-pop that I usually associated w/ mk1 is completely gone!

In fact, I was studying for my final at the library tonight and had my empeg hooked up directly to my headphones - when the empeg was paused, you couldn't hear anything from the headphones - whisper quiet.. The same setup on the mk1 would result in some pretty annoying noises...

So, Congrats Empeg, for redesigning a product so well... I'm glad that I've hopped onboard the Empeg train:)
