Most people (myself included) pronounce it the same as ``demon'' (dee-mun). Those who are pretentious or are wishing to distinguish it for some reason often say (day-mun), but that has little, if any, etymological accuracy. Since it's a latin word, if you're looking for another pronunciation, it ought to be pronounced (die-mun) (as in the singular of ``dice'' or what someone does before he becomes dead, not the German article), but I've never heard anyone actually pronounce it this way.

Because I said earlier that I refuse to say, and we've all been around long enough to know that refusal to tell something is often synonymous admission of said something.
