Jeremy at carplayer.com is/was selling one here. It's up to you whether you're willing to pay the asking price.

Greetings!

There are also three of them available on ebay at this very instant. I know - I have high bids on all three... 1 2 3

Note: Not that I am asking anyone to try to outbid me. If you want to bid, go for it, but I would be perfectly happy winning all three. Just a clarification...

Greetings!

Three, but one is on loan to CastingFool at the moment as a sample illuminated player.

There are a number of people at the office very interested in these, so I make it a point to watch for deals on ebay or the board. I try to get people at the office hooked on the players; I even have mine hooked up (locked down, of course) so people can stream and explore it.

Hopefully, that will not happen. Always keep the magic blue smoke bottled up inside...

I'm not too worried, really. I mean... I was still running a 486 until last year some time when I got a free upgrade to a pentium.

Hey, I know this is OT for this thread, but I can't get my player to stream over a network. I can contact and control the player over the network, but I never get any sound? Got any ideas?

I make it a point to watch for deals on ebay or the board

Personally I don't believe a word of it, I think it's the plot for the next bond film: "Empegs are forever".
The titles fade into the first scene: pgrzelak sits stroking an Empeg, behind him 8000 boxed 80gb disks.
"Greetings!" he says, adopting the menacing voice and personna of Alan Rickman, "It has long been my ambition to own every Empeg in the world and upgrade them all to 160gb".
Cut to our hero speeding to the rescue in his Noble:"If only there was room for my Beretta in here, or even room to blow my nose.......

I can just see the climactic scene, with our hero strapped to the table of a CNC cutting machine in place of lens/fascia stock. As the machine whirrs to life:

"Do you expect me to talk?"

"No, Mr. Fiennes, I expect you to make the Mark 3 a commercial product."

HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

Thanks! I needed that!!!

And it figures that Tony would hit my favorite line from any of the Bond movies to date.
