Hi all.

I must apologise for the long delay in shipping more tuner kits. I have been having
a very hard time sourcing a particular component (again), this time the antenna
connector. It looks like the company that seems to be the sole source has either
stopped making them or is just being very slow in shipping. Everyone I can find
who lists the connector is both out of stock and has no idea when they'll get any
more.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I finally managed to source some 1m antenna
extension leads, which of course have a socket at one end and a plug at the
other, all nicely premolded. I'll be using these for future orders, and have bought a
load of them to avoid more problems later. It should make building the kit easier as
well, since all you need to do is cut the unused end off, strip the cable, and solder
it in. The fiddly bit has already been done.

The really weird thing is that these cables work out marginally cheaper than
buying the cable and one connector separately

The next 50 orders will be shipping over the next 10 days.

Any chance of getting one of these antenna cables? Mine was kit 15 and I found the connector a little fiddly and intermittent.

Hi Patrick,

Please can I have/buy one of these leads also, as I have found it very difficult to get a reliable connection of the screen causing intermittent reception.

Thanks,
Oli.
