Check it out

The installation went quite well, the only problem is that I managed to tiddly-wink one of the surface mount resistors onto the carpet (mental note: next time, do it on lino! ).

Will have to drop Stu an email to see if I can get another resistor, I have a feeling RS will want me to buy 100 of the buggers, and maplin probably haven't even heard of surface mount.

Mind you, if I hadn't said there was one led not working most people probably wouldn't have noticed....

Well, three in the knob is better than none...

That looks great!!! Congratulations!!! Is that a blue button / smoke lens combination?

Yeah, i've recently had the neon red lense on until recently when I went back to the smoke. As for the buttons, crazymelki was selling them at the euro meet so I bit his hand off! The buttons themselves look green until you shine light through them, very strange. I'm just going to try the neon on it and see what it looks like.

Wow! Very nice! I also just installed the kit into my empeg, but i'm still lacking buttons. Where did you get yours from? and goes that source have any more for sale?

With the 2 kits i've put together, i've managed to loose a resistor, and a service mount led. They are very tiny.
