I just got a question about if it was possible to connect both a police radio and a radioreciever to the same car antenna?
And I got a little uncertain.... it would be possible as long as the koax has the same impedance right? Nothing would brake... but how about reception??....

I said to him that he could always try... and if it was poor reception he could always (because he didnt want to drill a new hole in his chassi) dra a new koax cable from the police radio and then use a standard wire (as an individual antenna next to his standard antenna) connect the koax ground to the chassis. and just connect his centerwire outside... (as long as he makes sure he isolates the centerwire...

So how should he do?... Is my advice a bad one?
