Back in June I was having a problem with no/low right channel volume.Seems the problem is back.I Swapped the rca cables from left to right and the problem switched so i'm pretty sure the problem is with the player.I also tried the rear rca's and the home 1volt rca's and the problem was duplicated.

I haven't contacted support yet, just wanted to see if anyone else had this occur.

With my very limited electronics experience I am going to guess that it has something to do with the audio output components. If that's the case, would those parts be available locally(USA) or are they something special only from Empeg.

Sanity check. Have you checked the balance control in the software, and have you tried switching to a different equalizer preset?

Just checking the easy things first. You could be right, it could be a component internal to the player.

I've checked the balance control on the player itself. Is that what you mean by the software?Yes I did try a different EQ preset after I switched the rca's to the rear output and still had the same result.

Same problem here.

Sometimes the right channel volume is normal, sometimes it's way to low.
When it happened again today I just rebooted the player and the right channel volume was ok.
I'd like to know how to fix that permanently though.

I have the same problem. It rarely seems to occur when I first power up, it becomes evident after playing for a while. I also had the "cutting out" problem described here. It took fully removing/readjusting the sled and the docking connecter wires to get a position it liked.

I plan on getting the LED and button kit when Stu at Eutronix has them ready. Perhaps he'd be willing to re-solder the docking connector wires for a fee. Hopefully he could check for the problems described here and here if necessary. Maybe the right-volume problem is related to one or more of these?
