Hello All

After searching high and low for a number of days, I can't seem to find a decent projection clock...requirements are: modern/unique looking, reasonably priced and a larger display. eBay, Oregon Scientific, the Sharper Image et al all seem to have the same boxy, boring models...Has any one stumbled across a site that has something different listed for sale? TIA

A quick look around the swedish sites that might carry stuff like this gives the following links (what are you using for power, 110/120 or 220/230V - some of the clocks in the first link are net powered, others battery or wallwart) Give me a holler if you see something you like but can't figure out the text...

Greetings!

Personally, I like my numbers orange and jumpy. I purchased a satellite controlled nixie clock - great item!!!

For some reason, I managed to read the whole page without thinking "That's really geeky" -- until I came to
The setup menu and controls are accessed via magnetic reed switches at the top of the clock using an included rod magnet.
Now that is geek genius. I must ask Hugo if there's any room left in the Karma casing for a reed switch to enter geek mode...

It is actually quite clever. There are no external buttons or controls. The top is removable, but it is not recommended due to the voltage needed to drive the nixies. Thus a rather interesting / elegent solution - the reed switches. No buttons, but you just wave the included magnetic wand over the switch.

I would really like a Geek Mode for the Karma!!!
