Supermediastore.com has 100 pack Ritek Ridata G04 4X Certified High-Speed DVD-R Media 4.7GB for $99. Is this good media for backing up DVD's?

G04 is the best media according to many people on tech forums. Sounds like a good deal.

That is a good deal for 4x. You'll pay a similar amount for 2x most of the time (at Meritline.com, at least).

I've been burning on Ritek since I got my burner, and have had no bad experiences due to the discs (all operator error ).

The best test that I can tell you is this: Last year I recorded all the concerts of my college band. I then made these into DVDs using Ritek media. I sold these discs to a couple dozen people, some buying all 4 concerts. So I sold nearly 90 DVDs.

I didn't hear a single complaint from anyone.

*edit*
Oh, and my other favorite thing about them is that they have no labels on the top. They're all silver (at least the 2x ones are). This makes them great for printing with the Casio thermal CD printer (thanks again for finding that, Rob ).
