I just accidentally unplugged my server at home and when it came back up I noticed that the DHCP Server did not start. Trawling through the logs I see that the startup scripts appear to have called it several times

If I run the server myself it seems fine. The script runs the server chrooted. I've checked in /var for the pid files and nothing seems amiss.
I'm running SuSe 9 if that's any help.
