There's another in car MP3 device available now it seems. It's the MuzicVault. The name is already irritating the hell out of me!

What's strange about this one is that it's designed to use a Palm as the user interface. It apparently also has Bluetooth support so you don't even need the cable.

** Unbelievable 20, 40, 60 and 80GB capacity. Larger sizes as technology moves ahead....
Anybody want to point them at pgrzelak's players?

At least those numbers indicate they're doing it right: using a laptop drive instead of a desktop drive...

Why must everyone claim to have the ultimate music player? Clearly *nobody* has got close to the ultimate player yet.

Oh, my mistake, these guys have the ultimate "muzic" player, so that's different.

It wouldn't be very useful in the UK. It's now illegal to use a mobile phone without a proper in car handsfree kit. Tapping away on the Palm would be even worse! I guess you could say that it's only for passengers though.

The mobile phone law only covers talking. It's still legal to text whilt driving provided the phone is in a cradle

Although they'll still do you (As they would have done before the new laws came into force) for driving without due care and attention....

Ah, but just think when the next product cycle comes around, and you can introduce the "Ultimate Music Player II".

(Tip of the hat to Mr Iain Banks there)
