Hi,

The player stores only one balance setting, rather than keep two different ones for in the car and at home. All other settings correctly switch between the two environments.

This is on a mk2, 1.01-rc2 and 1.01-final developer.

Regards,
Borislav

Peter@empeg.com tells me that this is a known issue and will be fixed in 1.1.

Actually, there are very few settings which switch personalities. I only know of volume, fader, and EQ.

Personally, I'd like to see loudness, balance, and beeps added to that list. Did Peter mention whether all of those were getting "personalitied"?

(Yes, I know, verbing weirds language.)

No, I didn't, but I will now: the answer is yes (in 1.1).

Ah, Calvin and Hobbes. Fantastic strip. If only their web site was searchable by text...

Actually, I didn't know they used that saying in Calvin and Hobbes. I only knew it through some writer friends of mine. I thought it was an old writer's saying. Especially relevant in today's high-tech world, where all sorts of words are being turned into verbs that shouldn't be.
