While they do not have lots of old info, they have the new stuff and some stuff not in AllMusic (track listings for one but not on all releases). Also, www.cddb.com is a way to maybe find a song if you do not know the album or artist. teemcbee addict Registered: 04/02/2000 Posts: 687	As I mostly need good old Rock and HardRock and Metal descriptions I'm quite fine with the allmusic.com. even though I don't really know if I should really fill out all ID3-tags completely (the year and albumname are missing at most of my songs in the categories Rock/Metal/BlackMetal/...) as these are about 2800 songs. Of course you must fill out ALL basic tags. It is the #1 rule of an MP3er!! As I mostly need good old Rock and HardRock and Metal descriptions I'm quite fine with the allmusic.com That is about all I need (plus some non-imported Black/Death Metal) and I find CDNow to have some stuff that AllMusic did not have. I also have to search for a fan/official site to get some information. as these are about 2800 songs. A lot of work! True but it is worth it. I have 52 CDs worth of MP3s but most have the information. Besides, adding things that are common to all the tracks of an album (year, album title, artist, genre) is easy with a tool that lets you select multiple files/dirs.
