Non-topic question again - which software do I need for the palm and how should I adjust it to remote control the empeg.
Do I need a RC hack on the empeg?
Where from could I get this software? Some other good sites to get free palm software?

Got my Mk2! # 080000143

There is an application allready available for the palm pilot, the 'Omniremote' which is available for download at www.palmgear.com - It works with my sony tv at home, even though i have to be standing close by it to make it work. It seems that the amplitude of the IR in the palm is low. Perhaps to save battery.

Thanks for your replies. I found "palmremote" - I think it was directly on www.palm.com.
I didn't try it with the Mk2 but the buttons are learnable so it won't be a problem.

Even though - having a closer thought on using the palm as remote control for the Mk2 - I think in car it's not very practicable cause you can't feel the buttons - I think the origin remote will make the job better
