I think I may hold some sort of record for the lowest average bitrate across all the songs in my player.

This isn't taking the sum of the bitrates for each file and dividing by the number of files; it's taking the total number of bits of data in the player (Note: bits, not bytes!) and dividing by the total number of milliseconds of audio in the player. (You'll have to put your CSV file into a spreadsheet and strip out the playlists, then do sums on the size and duration columns)

My average bitrate when I do this comes out to: 81.90 KB/Sec

Can anybody come in lower than that? Would anybody else even find the idea interesting enough to check?

My music is all recorded at very high quality; but I have an enormous amount of audiobooks at 48KB/sec, a fair number at 16 KB/sec, and even some totally unlistenable ones at 8 KB/sec. Oh, and don't forget two full years worth of hour-long weekly "Car Talk" episodes at 48 KB/sec.

Tends to pull the average down down a bit...
