Anyone know a really good weather forecasting site for scotland or even the UK

I try the bbc and it is okay but i would want a better one

If you'd like a taskbar program, give Weather Watcher a shot. I'm not sure how good it is for non-US countries (it uses Weather.com), but it's worth a shot. And don't worry, it's the opposite of Wetherbug, if you've ever tried that. This is just a great program.

I use Weatherbug because it has access to weather sites that weather.com doesn't. A local news channel here has over 100 weather stations at local schools and such that I can to from Weatherbug. So I can check the weather from a station 1 mile from my house, not down in the valley that the airport sits in and always reads 10F lower than the rest of Austin. Checking the wind direction and speed is nice when headedo ut fishing in the AM. I wish other task tray tools could access these sites...

I agree with you there. I liked being able to see the data that's being collected at my old middle school. But the program its self is just so bad. Do you have a non-trial version?

I've got a trial version at home that I have refused updates on for a couple of years now. It's much different than the one I loaded at work last month, which makes me change sponsors every 30 days.
To get rid of the sponsors, I'd pay $5, maybe $10, but not the $20 or $30 (whichever it is) for the full version... I can get the data through the news channels website, but it's alot more cumbersome... With Weatherbug I just punch in the ZIP code to the city I'm headed out for fishing and check it out. Now if they made an improvement where I could put in a ZIP code without having to go into the set-up, I'd seriously consider paying for it, provided no spyware comes with it...

That's the thing, I've never seen a Weatherbug installation without spy/adware. That's the primary reason I got rid of it, in addition to being an incredibly ugly program, even without the sponsor "skins."

Yeah, I wish there was a way to access the data. I remembered while replying here, that you used to be able to go to www.aws.com and get realtime and near-realtime sites over the entire country. But now all you get is the marketing info for weathernet or the weatherbug page. When I thought it was hot here, I would watch the junior high school I went to in AZ bake in the summertime...

I found a great one for the US.. For $7 a month their radar images update every 6 minutes on the internet! that is the fastest out there. Intellicast only updates every 20 minutes.
