I've had a PCATS tuner now for about a month now and today was the first time i noticed the RDS clock come on.The weird thing was that when the clock was visible the radio reception had improved.
I mention this because the reception had previously been disappointing,and I was happy to hear it improved.Unfortunately it didn't last that long as after I stopped for a soda and came back out the clock had disappeared and the reception returned to it's intermittent state.
So was it just a coincidence or could the two be related somehow.
BTW the clock was accurate except for being in HR type mode.

Effect, not cause, would be my expectation: when reception is poor RDS sucks.
