In the last couple of days, I have had a problem with my Empeg restarting for no reason. I checked to make sure it was all the way in the cradle (which it was.) It doesn't go all the way through the reboot process though..it just shuts off and turns back on (and the battery low indicator light comes on briefly-however, I do not think there is a car battery problem.) Has anyone else had this problem?

When I first installed my empeg, I had this problem. I was using a Y-adapter harness to feed power to both the empeg and the CD receiver I had installed. Well, the car's original wiring just wasn't up to the task.

So I ran a 12GA line through a 3A fuse straight to the battery, and hooked up the empeg's constant power line to it. No problems now.

It could be a wiring problem, or something wrong with your car's electrical system. Please click here.

and the battery low indicator light comes on briefly-however, I do not think there is a car battery problem.

Maybe not specifically with the battery, but there is definitely a problem with something in your car's electrical system, whether it be battery, alternator, voltage regulator or wiring.

The battery icon comes on when there is not sufficient voltage to the player to sustain operation. The problem pretty much has to be one of the items listed above.
