Getting pee'd off at my boss and his inability to look after his people.
I put up with this since the bubble burst, but since our groups net/system admin left 6 month ago and I've had to do his work as well and given that it's taken until now for interviews to start....its getting an little old.

Brief resume.
Irish, but legal to work in the US.
College education, Carlow IT, Cert. in computer network and optical communications & Dip. computer programming.
Currently work in Franklin, MA for a corporation that makes storage - sorry no prizes for guessing who
Current job: Lots of WISE scripting, job title could easily be world wide software release engineer for <dept.> to Mfg., Eng. & CS.
I've also trained others in how to use WISE, in some cases moving them and their existing installs over from InstallShield.
I'll be heading to Cork, Ireland next month and probably to Apex NC some time after todo training and scripting.
Other responsibilities: Protecting 400+ systems in Franklin and advising other depts. & Cork from MS vulnerabilities & viri with out the ability to apply most MS hotfixes, we're currently running W2k sp2 with four hotfixes - it's a pie with lots of fingers in it, and the number of infected systems in the past two years can be easily counted.
High level FA on returned systems - each "box" we sell has a system/PC attached to it, on occasion these have fail to perform as expected, I get to dig through the system and the paper trail.
Misc internal tech/network/admin/system support.

General all round geek who spend way too much time in the registry.

Well, that's just a fact of life in Massachusetts. When I got the tabs for the WRX here in Seattle, it took me all of 10 minutes.

Um, is it me or did the context just shift without a clutch?

Is the DMV called a registry or something?

If not then yeah... something odd is going on

Yep, and one registry's about as arcane as the other.
