This is what I find so funny about the UK Independence Party and their hostility towards Europe. What the [censored] else do they think is keeping us independent of the US? The UKIP are very big on loss of sovereignty, but where is our foreign policy in the Middle-East currently decided? Westminster, Brussels -- or Washington?

I am 100% with you on this one. And being Scottish I get to hear twice as much independence nonsense. If we are going to be independent, lets work it out. How will we survive without the US support if we aren't a part of the EU? We are a tiny little country with pretty limited resources. If only the independence parties would get that through their heads.

I would love it if we could avoid being a pawn of the US - not because I object to the US, but because I object to some of the people who hold power, and their aims.
