I'm hoping that someone has a NewFace that isn't currently installed (or the willingness to remove it from their players) to take a few high res images of it for me.

I have seen many images of installed faces, but I'd really like to see it on edge from all sides as well as from behind (flat) and behind on angle from top left and right.

Mach sent me a few images which are pretty good. Just a bit stark (contrasty) because they're obviously of a very shiny face. Some back-side angle and edge/profile shots would be great and likely all I need now.

I'll see what I can do - I've got a black one, so perhaps not quite so shiny...

One way to greatly improve photos of something very shiney like the Chromed NewFace, is to take the photo with lots of white stuff around. That way, the shiney bits will reflect the colour white, and show up better in the finished photograph. As opposed to them just reflecting whatever random dark colours might be in the room.

I'll be making a post in the Projects forum later today. The bottom line is that I'd like to do some investigation on the likelihood of getting some new faces produced at reasonable costs. I'm looking at alternative production methods now but need to hit up a few contacts and make a few new ones in the process. Through another forum I participated in a project to produce custom aluminum fascias for Shuttle systems that ended up being extremely economical. Even at twice the price, it would be a welcome project for the empeg.

We'll see. I'm also considering making my own manually (router) but I don't think I'd ever make more than 1.

If anyone can volunteer some 3D/CAD experience it would be much appreciated.

I'm putting the post on hold for a bit. I have a few other things to sort out, not the least of which is getting my empeg into my current car. (Loads of fun tonight soldering multiple connections on the wiring harness of the sled I purchased a few months ago - only to find out the BMW aftermarket harness I bought has a bumb housing or pins and is therefore completely useless to me )
